Partner
Few would argue that time is money and knowledge is a truly bankable asset. I am seeking ventures and opportunities where I can use my knowledge, skills and time to add real value. I am also prepared to share in the risk by not seeking fixed fees or a salary for my efforts. Instead, I am willing to provide my time, knowledge and skills in return for a share of future profits, equity, on a project basis or, perhaps a combination of all three. In other words, my rewards would be aligned with those of the business, if I fail, then I would receive no financial benefit. For this reason, I would have to be certain that I could add value, that the business or proposition was viable and that I could work with the other parties to the business venture. Similarly, those seeking a partner will want to be sure that I am the right person for them, therefore an honest and frank discussion is often the first step.
Before you decide to contact me I would suggest that you first take a look at the ‘About me’ section of this website which will provide you with a broad outline of my knowledge, skills and experience. If you like what you see, then I would expect you to reciprocate by providing me with a broad outline of your business idea and your relative experience. If I like the idea and you are keen to take matters further, then I would suggest that we enter into a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), this is to protect you and your business idea it would also be a demonstration of my good faith. You should never go into detail on any business plan with an unknown third party without an NDA. Once the NDA is completed, we would then be free to discuss the business idea in more detail and determine what my role would be in the venture. Our aim would be to determine whether there is value in a collaboration, what form that would take and any rewards.
